Our Evaluation-Based Care Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

The consultation is a focused conversation designed to understand your symptoms, health history, and goals. This visit allows Dr. Lambert to determine whether your concerns may benefit from further evaluation.

Not every condition requires the same approach, and the consultation helps decide whether a comprehensive evaluation is appropriate before proceeding.

Step 2: Comprehensive Evaluation

If indicated, a comprehensive evaluation is performed to assess movement, soft tissue quality, and functional limitations. This may include examining how muscles, connective tissue, and joints interact during motion.

Evaluation findings help identify factors such as soft tissue restriction, adhesion patterns, or possible nerve involvement that may be contributing to symptoms.

Step 3: Targeted Treatment

When care is appropriate, treatment is selected based on evaluation findings rather than symptoms alone. The focus is on addressing identified restrictions or tissue limitations that may be affecting movement and function.

Treatment approaches are adjusted according to how the body responds over time, rather than following a predetermined protocol.

Step 4: Progress Review & Long-Term Planning

Progress is reviewed throughout care to assess changes in movement, function, and symptom behavior. This review helps guide decisions about continuing, modifying, or concluding care.

Long-term planning may include movement strategies or guidance designed to support ongoing function while minimizing unnecessary in-office visits.
