At Discover Soft Tissue + Spine, care begins with a detailed evaluation of movement, soft tissue restriction, joint function, and nerve-related symptoms when appropriate. The goal is to understand what may be limiting your movement before deciding whether treatment makes sense.
Pain, tightness, numbness, tingling, stiffness, or recurring flare-ups can come from different sources. That is why we do not start with a generic treatment plan. We look for measurable movement restrictions, soft tissue adhesion, joint limitations, and signs that nerves may not be moving normally through surrounding tissue.
This helps us decide whether care at Discover is appropriate, what should be treated first, and when another provider or additional testing may be needed.
Your first visit starts with a focused conversation about your symptoms, health history, previous care, activity goals, and what has or has not helped. Dr. Lambert may also review relevant imaging or reports when available. This helps us understand the pattern of the problem before testing begins.
Your evaluation includes a functional examination with range-of-motion testing, orthopedic testing, neurological screening, and palpation. We assess movement, flexibility, soft tissue restriction, joint motion, functional limitations, and possible nerve involvement when it may be part of the problem. The goal is to determine whether you are a good candidate for care at Discover and whether we believe we can help.
After the evaluation, Dr. Lambert reviews what the findings suggest and how they may relate to your symptoms. This may include soft tissue adhesion, limited joint motion, restricted movement, functional limitations, or possible nerve-related irritation. You should leave with a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to the problem and whether care at Discover makes sense.
When treatment is appropriate, care is based on the evaluation findings, not symptoms alone. Treatment may include hands-on and instrument-assisted therapies, radial pulse therapy or shockwave therapy, lifestyle modifications, and strengthening exercises. The goal is to improve movement, reduce restriction, support better function, and help you make progress outside the office.
Progress is reviewed by looking at changes in movement, function, and symptom behavior over time. If you are improving, the plan may continue or be adjusted based on your response. If progress is limited, we discuss whether a different approach, referral, or additional evaluation may be needed. The goal is to help you improve what can be improved without unnecessary ongoing care.
Some patients choose periodic longevity care after their initial treatment plan is complete. These visits are designed to help maintain progress, support better movement, and address small restrictions before they become bigger limitations. Longevity care is optional and recommended only when it makes sense for your condition, goals, and response to care.
When stretching, massage, or exercise helps temporarily but the same tightness keeps returning.
When pain keeps coming back or movement feels limited despite previous care.
When symptoms travel into the hip, leg, shoulder, arm, or hand.
When symptoms suggest possible nerve involvement or irritation.
When joint pain may be influenced by soft tissue restriction, limited motion, or poor movement quality.
When an MRI or X-ray does not fully explain why pain, stiffness, or symptoms continue.
If the evaluation suggests that your condition may need imaging, medical management, surgical consultation, or a different type of care, we will discuss that with you. Our process is designed to identify when soft tissue and movement-based care may help — and when another direction may be more appropriate.
Adhesion can limit how muscles, fascia, and connective tissue move, which may contribute to stiffness, tightness, pain, or recurring movement problems.
When nerves do not move normally through surrounding tissue, symptoms may include numbness, tingling, burning, weakness, or radiating pain.

Understand visit fees, insurance, Medicare, and superbill information before scheduling.
If symptoms keep coming back, the next step is not more guessing. Schedule an evaluation and let’s look at how your body is actually moving.
